My teaching philosophy:
Math
= Rules + Examples + Working Problems
Many students are afraid of math because they don't really understand HOW to learn it and HOW to study for exams.
I provide students with not only math skills, but also math study skills, so they can learn what they need to know and what they don't need to know.
Students need to know WHAT TO UNDERSTAND vs. WHAT TO ACCEPT
AS TRUTHS AND MEMORIZE!!!
This saves time and frustration for the students and give them more self-confidence.
I strive to make math as SIMPLE as possible and break it
down in small chunks so that the student is not overwhelmed. If
you can add 2 + 2, you can be taught to solve complicated Calculus
problems.
